at-home care guide
1. Light
Place your basket in a bright spot indoors, near a window with indirect sunlight.
Avoid harsh, direct sun that can scorch delicate flowers like begonias.
2. Water
Check soil every few days: water when the top 1–2 cm feels dry.
Pour water slowly until it drains from the bottom; don’t let the basket sit in water.
3. Feeding
Use a liquid houseplant fertilizer every 2–4 weeks.
During blooming periods, a fertilizer for flowering plants will encourage more flowers.
4. Pruning
Remove dead flowers and yellow leaves to keep the basket healthy and neat.
Trim any overgrown vines or trailing plants for a balanced look.
5. Temperature & Humidity
Keep the basket in a room around 18–24 °C (65–75 °F).
Avoid drafts, heaters, or air conditioners blowing directly on it.
Indoor humidity is usually fine, but a light misting helps trailing ivy or ferns in dry rooms.
6. Watch for Problems
Drooping leaves usually mean too little water; yellow leaves can indicate overwatering.
Check occasionally for pests like spider mites or aphids; wipe leaves or use mild insecticidal soap if needed.
